She was born in Mena Arkansas to Raymond C. and Lucy E. Forbes.
As a child the family moved to Mesa, Arizona.
In 1960 she moved to El Paso. She retired from the K-Mart Corporation. She was a member of New Hope Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her sister, Jean Leach, two nephews, Brian Leach and Steven Leach, a niece, Shelly Leach, and her sister-in-law, Virginia "Jinny" Forbes. She is also survived by her very dear friends, Veda & Walter Campbell, her neighbors, the Durate family, and her adopted families, the Munoz's and Steward's.
As a result of COVID issues, no services will be held.
At a later time Lucy Jane will be laid to rest in San Jose, California with her parents.
