

He will be lovingly remembered and survived by his wife of 51 years, Isabel; children: Jose Antonio, Esperanza, Damian, Benjamin, Elizabeth and Marie; 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He is loved by his 12 brothers, sisters and extended family.
Jose was born in Villa de La Paz, San Luis Potosi, Mexico. He was drafted to the U.S. Army in 1966 and he was honorably discharged in 1972, he later made a career as a commercial landscaper. Jose has been retired from landscaping for 20 years and started traveling with the love of his life, Isabel. Traveling to many places all over the world, his favorite place to go was always the Holy Land in Israel. When they weren’t traveling, Jose loved spending time with his family, watching any and all sports but loved his San Francisco Giants and 49ers, and scratching lotto tickets.
Visitation and Rosary will be held Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 4 pm- 8 pm at Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park 300 Curtner Ave., San Jose, CA 95125. Rosary will be from 7 pm-8 pm.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 10,2023 at 11 am at St. John Vianney 4600 Hyland Ave., San Jose, CA 95127. Burial to follow at 12:30 pm at Calvary Catholic Cemetery 2650 Madden Ave. San Jose, CA 95116.
Celebration of life will be held from 2 pm to 6 pm at the American Legion Hall 958 Homestead Road, Santa Clara, CA 95050.
