It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Keith Wayne Walker — a devoted son, cherished brother, loving Godfather, proud uncle, and loyal friend. Keith was born on November 30, 1952, in San Jose, California, and from the very beginning, his generous heart and strong spirit left an impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Keith had a remarkable gift for working with his hands and an eye for craftsmanship. Whether he was fishing at his favorite spot, fixing something around the house, or diving into a new project, Keith brought care, precision, and pride to everything he did. If something was broken, he’d fix it. If something was missing, he’d build it. He had that rare ability to turn ideas into reality — and he loved doing it for others as much as for himself.
After graduating from high school, Keith began his career as a journeyman in the Lathers (Carpenters) Union. Through dedication and skill, he rose to become the proud owner of Rollie French Construction Company. But Keith’s success wasn’t just measured in business — it was measured in the lives he touched. He mentored countless others, always encouraging them to aim higher and believe in themselves. Helping others succeed brought him real joy.
Keith also had a quiet sense of adventure and determination. Though not a avid swimmer, he took on and completed the Alcatraz swim — just one example of his fearless spirit. He loved cooking, golfing and fishing, especially when shared with the people he cared about most. Time with family and friends, full of laughter and stories, was what he truly treasured.
Keith’s kindness will forever be remembered. His presence brought comfort, his advice brought clarity, and his friendship brought joy. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and generosity that will live on in all who knew him.
Keith will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. We will always carry his memory in our hearts.
