
Resident of San JoseApa entered eternal life in the comfort of his home and surrounded by his loved ones. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years, Socorro. He is survived by 7 children; Agatha, Olga, Socorro, Servando, Arnaldo, Alex, and Librado Jr.; 18 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. As a young adult, he envisioned a better life in the U.S., and worked tirelessly to bring that dream to fruition. In 1941, he followed that vision and migrated to the U.S., only to return to his homeland soon after. He did not falter on this dream, in 1955, his determination and faith helped him sustain his place in the U.S. Once settled, he began working for Southern Pacific Railroad in Portola, Nevada. In 1963, the family joined him, and together moved to Sacramento, Ca. In 1967, he relocated his family to Roseville, Ca., and finally in 1970, he placed family roots in San Jose; where he purchased a home and raised his family. In 1988, he retired from Levin Metals Corp., and obtained his U.S Citizenship in 1998. He was a remarkable strong man, and will be missed by all. Services will be Mon 11/16 at Oak Hill at 7pm (viewing 9am-4pm).
