She was born on February 13, 1925, in Del Carmen, Floridablanca, Pampanga, Philippines to Dr. Felix Coronel and Maria Estella Guerrero-Coronel. As one of eight children, Luring grew up with a deep sense of family and faith that she carried throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband Angel Olalia Lagman. In 1975, Luring made the wise decision to move to the United States settling in San Jose, California.
Luring is survived by her seven children Lita (Del) Garcia, Tessie (Popoy) Jimenez, Eloisa “Dedeng” Lagman, Angie (Manolo) Linsangan, Lorette (George) Balster, Mario (Donna) Lagman, and Marisa (+Francisco Jr.) Paule. Her family was blessed to experience the legacy she leaves behind, rooted in the values of attaining the highest education possible, hard work, financial prudence, and unwavering perseverance.
She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. A friend to many, she leaves behind a legacy of kindness and strength. She will be profoundly missed but her memory will lovingly and earnestly remain in our hearts forever.
