Loretta Whaley Resident of San Jose, CA
Passed away peacefully on June 15, 2024 at the age of 89. Loretta was a dedicated employee and worked for MMM carpets for almost 4 decades. She had a zest for life. Her social nature was evident at every gathering, bowling event, dance floor and local diner, where she enjoyed a good cup of coffee. Loretta was known for her timeless beauty and always looked her best. Her beauty was radiated from within which was reflected in her kindness and smile. She was a devoted mother, “Nonnie”, and friend, and always had a special place in her heart for her dogs, who brought her immense joy.
She is survived by her sons Marcus and Jeff Whaley of San Jose, Ca., her daughter Valerie Griffith and son-in-law Greg Griffith of Lemoore, Ca., and her daughter Renee Whaley of San Jose, Ca.
She was very proud of her grandchildren and known as “Nonnie” to Matthew and wife Nora, Christina, Felicia and husband Mike, Jessica and Nick. As well as her great grandchildren Charlee, Thomas, Nicolas, Caydence, Angelica, Owen and Toby.
Graveside services will be held at Oak Hill Memorial Park in San Jose, Ca. on July 12, 2024 at 11:00am.
