

LT Kennedy Jr. was born February 28, 1948 in Tyler Texas to the union of LT Sr. and Nancy Bell Kennedy (McLennan). He was the youngest child, and only son of the union, and was raised to fear the Lord. At an early age, LT, accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior.
LT lived a distinguished life. He enlisted in the United States Airforce in 1960, were he served with honor. LT kept the planes flying as an airplane mechanic, a skill set he would employ for the remainder of his life.
After an honorable discharge in 1964, LT began his career as a mechanic, businessman, and pro golfer. The years he spent with the PGA tour, from 1978-1982, were some of the happiest. From his tournament of champions, he played in the Boss Tournament with famous names like Jack Nicholson. During this time, he opened care homes, such as the Kennedy Lodge in Downtown San Jose. LT spent most of his life in San Jose, before relocating to Los Banos in 2019.
LT was proud of his civic and social life, becoming 33rd Degree Mason, but what he was known for was his CB Radio, which he enjoyed with his beloved Boot Hill Gang. Silver Eagle, as he was known, was truly a friend to many.
The joy of LT’s life was his family. He cherished his children, and in the latter years his wife of 19 years, Christine Kennedy.
LT is precede in death by his parents Nancy and LT Sr; his sisters Molly and Juanita; and his wife Olga.
LT leaves to cherish his memory of his wife Christine Kennedy; his children, Lavelle, Leighton, Lydell, Leslie, Diane and Lekicia; his sister Pearline Harris; his first wife Loretta; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
