

Lynda was born in Okinawa, Japan on July 8, 1953 to Pascual Erece and Matsue Terahara Erece. Her father, originally from the Philippians met and married her mom in Japan, serving the United Stated Army. Her family traveled and lived in many military basses during her father’s military currier. The Erece family eventually settled and schooled in Marina CA. She made her professional carrier in the dental field.
Lynda built a dedicated and meaningful currier in the dental field, where she worked as a Dental Assistant for many years. In 1977, she welcomed Salyna Nevarez. Following her divorce, Lynda moved to San Francisco, continued her currier and raising her daughter as a single mother. She demonstrated remarkable strength and independence, balancing her professional responsibilities and raising her family. During this period in her life, she maintained an active lifestyle going to the gym regularly. She had a deep love for music, especially love songs.
On Valentines Day of 1986, married Jose Uribe. The couple relocated to Pennsylvania, together raising three children: Salyna, Jose Jr. and Martin. Permanently making a home in the San Jose area in since 1989. She developed numerous friendships throughout her life, maintaining close contact with her longtime friend and former roommate Kim.
After her divorce in 2006, Lynda continued to still work in the dental field and committed to her health and fitness, often attending nearly every morning without fails. Lynda maintained a respectful relationship with Jose Uribe, sharing together many respectful family gatherings, birthdays, Christmas, special occasions with their children.
In Lynda’s later years, she began experiencing a decline in her health. Experiencing fatigue and heart related issues. Over time her condition worsened, leading to prolonged hospitalization. After a courageous battle, she passed away peacefully on April 20, 2026.
Lynda will be remembered for her resilience, dedication to her family, and warmth she brought to those around her. Her legacy lives on through her children and many lives she touched.
