Maria Flores Avila

Maria Flores Avila, aged 79, of San Jose, California passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. Maria was born in Chavinda, Michoacan, Mexico to loving parents Maria de Jesus Romero and Jose Flores Silva.

Maria is survived by: daughters Maria Lurdes Avila Flores (Jose Luis Castro); Catalina Avila Flores; Leticia Avila Flores (Jesus Alejo); Guadalupe Avila (Jose Luis Vargas); sons Rafael Avila Flores (Esther Vasquez); Jesus Avila Flores; sisters Maria Flores Romero, Lupe Flores Romero, Sara Flores Romero, Rosa Flores Romero, Mago Flores Romero, brothers Roberto Flores Romero, Juan Flores Romero and Rafael Flores Romero. Maria was blessed with 24 grandchildren and was an honored Great-Grandmother to 11.

Maria was preceded in death by her husband Rafael Avila; son Jose Alberto Avila Flores, father Jose Flores Silva and mother Maria de Jesus Romero; sister Guille Flores Romero; brother Jose Flores Romero and brother Jesus Flores Romero.

Visitation from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.,Friday, November 11, 2022 at Lima Family Erickson, 710 Willow St., San Jose; prayer service beginning at 7 p.m. Graveside serivce at 12 p.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery, 490 Lincoln Street, Santa Clara.
