

Michael D. LeeEntered into rest, at the age of 49, on Wednesday, February 3, 2010, at his home in Milpitas, California after courageously battling cancer. He was born in Oakland, California on December 19, 1960, and has been a resident of Milpitas for forty-three years. He was born to Richard and Barbara Lee, who both have preceded him in death.Michael was an energetic and friendly child, who enjoyed exploring all around the city when Milpitas was mainly fields. As a youth he swam competitively and later played water polo and did swimming for Samuel Ayer High School. Mike graduated from Samuel Ayer High School in 1979. After graduation he went into the United States Navy, where he served for four years. Of that, two years was spent on the USS Joseph Hewes (FF 1078). He obtained an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from Heald College, which was very useful in his field of work. Mike worked in facility maintenance for the past twenty-two years for various companies. He currently was working for Ch2MHill at the Juniper Networks plant in Sunnyvale.Michael married his wife in 1991 and insisted that they purchase their first home in Milpitas and raise their family here. Michael will be GREATLY missed by his wife of 18 years, Bernadette Lee of Milpitas, his daughters Lora and Lisa Lee of Milpitas, his daughter and son-in-law Chandel and James Perkins of Fresno, and his siblings Chris (Danene) Lee of San Jose, Dennis Lee of Berkeley, and Debbie Kascak of Fresno. Michael was a very loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend to many.
