Nancy J. Moore, 83, of Santa Clara, California passed away peacefully on February 1, 2026. She was known to all who loved her as: a cherished wife, mom, grandmother and friend.
She grew up in Sunnyvale, California, a place she always held dear to her heart.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 50 years, Gilbert L. Moore. Together, they raised two children and shared a great life of: traveling, camping, boating, biking and a love for NASCAR races and classic cars.
Nancy is survived by her son, Gilbert H. Moore; daughter and son-in-law, Colleen and Todd Orman; and two cherished grandchildren, Molly and Josh Orman. Her family was her greatest joy, and nothing made her smile more than being together-whether around the dinner table, celebrating holidays or simply sharing stories and laughter.
Nancy was a wonderful cook, known for delicious meals and desserts that brought everyone together. She retired from the Santa Clara Unified School District, where she dedicated many years of service as a Kitchen Manager.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
