Nancy Man Tran, 69, of San Jose, California, passed away on March 2, 2026. Born in Vietnam, she immigrated to the United States in 1986 with her parents and sisters after spending time in refugee camps in Thailand and the Philippines. She carried with her a quiet strength and resilience that shaped the life she built in America.
Nancy spent most of her life in San Jose, where she worked in manufacturing on an assembly line for many years before moving into a management role. She was married to her husband, Danny, for more than 30 years.
She is survived by her husband, Danny; her father, Dang; her sisters, Vinh and Hue; her brother, Peter; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved like her own children.
Nancy was known for her generous heart and her love of cooking, gardening, and caring for her beloved Pomeranian dogs. Raised in a Buddhist family, she valued kindness, family, and bringing people together. She will be remembered for her warmth, humor, and the love she shared with everyone around her.
