Nettie Muriel Allen-Sheets was born in Richlands, Virginia on July 20, 1937. She grew up in Hill Creek and was a Coal Miner’s daughter. When she was 18, she joined the United States Air Force for four years. After the Air Force, she got married and had two children. Nettie is survived by her daughter and son, four grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. The most important thing to Nettie was her family. She always made sure they all were happy and helped them with anything they needed. Nettie had a fun spirit and loved to go dancing. Nettie was a resident of San Jose for 57 years.
