Omar Qawasmi beloved son of Susan Navarrete Qawasmi and Azzam Qawasmi passed into eternity on November 21, 2025. He was born on January 9, 1992 in San Jose. Graduated from Evergreen High and from San Francisco State with a Bachelor of Science Degree. A young man with dreams and ambitions which he worked hard to achieve, he often worked two jobs. While working as a para-educator he discovered that he enjoyed working with children and decided to get his teaching credential.
Omar's beloved Mother passed in 2018. He left his life in San Francisco to return home to be with his Mom and cared for her in her final days. It was undoubtedly the saddest time of his life. He was a man of great compassion who possessed quiet strength as well as a loving gentle nature. His humility and friendly nature won him many friends. We will remember him always and know he is reunited with his precious Mother.
Omar leaves his Father, Azzam Qawasmi, his partner Burgundy Barboza and many friends and relatives.
