Robert Gene Gibson

He moved his family to California in October of 1967. He spent most of his life living between San Jose, CA and Houston, TX. Robert was a General Contractor by trade. His greatest accomplishment and biggest love was his family. He was survived by 3 brothers and 1 sister (Ronnie Gibson, Billie Jo Robbins, Tommy Gibson, Jim Gibson); 8 children (Michelle Perea, Jim Gibson, Cheryl Begandy, Kathleen Stephens, Yvonne Pizano, Rhonda Falcone, Stephen Gibson, Stephanie Strickland), 22 grandchildren (Tommy Perea, Tiffany Craven, Nicole Perea, Raquel Hall, Denae Lawrence, Cory Gibson, Cody Gibson, Brandi Passante, Bruce Lawton, Alexander Begandy, Stacie Stephens, Michael Stephens, Robert Silva, Jon Pizano, Jason Pizano, Julian Pizano, Monique Pizano, Victoria Pena, Falissa Blancarte, Amanda Falcone, Connor Strickland, Katelyn Strickland), and 13 great-grandchildren (Caleb Craven, Jonah Craven, Zachariah Craven, Levi Craven, Caden Lawrence, Cameron Schulz, Payton Schulz, Christian Lawton, Jaxson Stephens, Quinton Pizano, Vaughn Pizano, Bella Villarea, Elijah Blancarte).

Robert left us on May 7, 2013 surrounded by his children after his 9 month battle with cancer. His services will be held on Friday, May 17, 2013 at Oak Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park at 1:00pm in the Chapel of the Oaks. Graveside burial to follow immediately after services.
