Robert "Bob" Leslie Martin

Sadly, Bob Martin passed away on August 9, 2023 at his home surrounded by family. Bob succumbed to complications from injuries he previously suffered from an attack at a local pharmacy store. Bob was born in Detroit, Michigan to June Crook and Alfred Martin. Bob grew up in Mountain View and graduated from Mountain View High School and then attended Foothill College. Bob was married and had three children before moving to San Jose in 1962. In San Jose he met Barbara Hanlon, and they married in 1977, and were happily married for 46 years.

Bob loved to travel with his wife and grandchildren. Their travels covered almost every state in the U.S. and over 15 countries, extending from Europe, Africa and South America. Bob loved cars and worked as a credit union auto broker, and was well known and respected in his profession. Bob made many long term friends through his career and life.

Bob will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Barbara, children Leslie (Mark), Susan, Robert (Terri), Jill (Andy), Karen (Eric), grandchildren Brianna, Crystal (Paul), Cassandra, Matthew and Daniel, great grandchildren Brandon, Royce (Carolina), Victoria and Aubrey, and great- great grandchildren Tania and Royalty.

Barbara and family invite all who knew and loved Bob to his funeral services. Viewing on August 22nd, 2023 from 5-8pm at Willow Glen Funeral Home (1039 Lincoln Ave, San Jose, CA. 95125. Funeral Mass will be held on August 23rd, 2023 at St Christopher's Catholic Church (2278 Booksin Ave, San Jose, CA 95125) at 12 pm. A reception will be held immediately following.
