Roberto Villaruel Moreno

Roberto Villaruel Moreno, age 68, of Milpitas, California passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022 in San Jose, California. Roberto was born March 27, 1954 in Pasay City, Metro Manilla, Philippines to loving parents, Paterno and Alicia Moreno. The happy couple had nine children. Four boys and five girls.

Roberto met and married Imelda (Gaspar) Moreno in 1976. They shared 46 wonderful years together before Roberto's passing. They are the loving parents to seven children, and settled down in California to raise their family.

Roberto Moreno is survived by his devoted wife, Imelda Moreno, his amazing children, the Late Erwin Moreno, Oscar Moreno, twin boys, Raymond and Reynan Moreno, Edwin Moreno (Lovelia Joy), GayAnn Ladaga (Edgar), and Decie Joy Eugenio (Nathan). Roberto was the proud Grandfather to eight: Jermaine Ryan Moreno, Justin Brandon Moreno, DeAndre Preston Moreno, Logan Maxwell Moreno, Kaitlyn Ann Ladaga, Madison Grace Ladaga, Ronin Scott Ladaga and Gavin Reed Eugenio.

He was preceded in death by his parents Paterno and Alicia Moreno, and his brother Erwin Moreno.

Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm,

at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel, 710 Willow Street, San Jose, CA 95125, with the rosary being said at 6:00 pm by Father Andres Ligot. Friday, August 12, 2022, viewing will resume at 11:00 am with a funeral service at 12:00 pm at the funeral home, followed by interment at Cedar Lawn Cemetery at 2:00pm, 48800 Warm Springs Boulevard, Fremont, CA 94539.
