Rodin Navarro was a hardworking, kind, and humble man whose life was defined by devotion to his family. Very loving and charismatic, he expressed his care through action—supporting those around him and serving as a dependable presence to all who knew him. He married the love of his life, Myrene Navarro, in 2001, sharing a life of partnership, care, and companionship. Through his example, he nurtured in his family a lasting sense of integrity, resilience, and joy.
Born on December 20, 1964, in Mexico, Pampanga, Philippines, Rodin was the eighth of twelve children born to Alejandro Navarro and Africa Maniago. He later settled in the Bay Area, where he spent most of his life. Growing up in a large family shaped his strong work ethic, sense of responsibility, and caring nature.
Rodin appreciated the simple pleasures in life. In his leisure time, he enjoyed singing karaoke, fishing, and applying his practical skills to various projects. He was highly skilled and knowledgeable in mechanical work and repairs, and he had a gentle, nurturing side, which he expressed through gardening. He was also a devoted fan of the Golden State Warriors and San Francisco 49ers.
Known for his friendly and approachable nature, Rodin encouraged others to see the brighter side of life. He spent 20 years working for the post office and 18 years with Kaiser Permanente EVS earning respect as a reliable and hardworking leader.
