Rosemarie O Correos

Rosemarie Ortega Correos passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 55 in her Las Vegas home on Thursday, 07/27/17. She was born in Manila, Philippines on 09/28/61 to Lily and Francisco Ortega Jr and immigrated to California with her parents and 2 brothers, Ojie and Francis, to make a new home in San Jose, California.

In the past 15 years, she has mastered the streets of her current residence in Las Vegas, NV. Always spending time & going out with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Harold Correos, daughter Mary Rose Ortega Fernandez Simpauco, father Francisco Ortega Jr. & fur baby Bambi.

Rosemarie was a kind soul who befriended everyone who crossed her path. She was caring & selfless and took people and animals into her own home who needed a roof over their heads. Always giving her all with her heart. She was an exceptional homemaker who loved to cook and was great at filling a hungry stomach with delicious concoctions on a whim. She got to travel and loved experiencing new places. She was exceptional in her many talents of artistic skills. Creatively, she made collages and albums to preserve memories while also expressing herself through painting, party planning, and other crafts.

She enjoyed spending time traveling the world with her husband, watching movies or shopping away with her daughter and partying with her family and friends as she was easily the life of the party… and even with her physically weak heart, it was big & strong, full of love, and never lacked in energy or joy. Her life will be celebrated and laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in San Jose, CA.
