He is survived by his daughters Claudia Ordonio and Sharon DeCarlo. Their spouses Leonard Ordonio and Heather R Moore .

Grandsons: Richard Herrera and Brad Klipper. Their spouses, Melita Herrera and Karla Klipper.

Great Grandchildren: Gabriella Herrera, Lyric Oliveros, Sean Michael, spouse Christine Terazono , Tiani Terazono, Jordon Kim, Vivian Valencia, “Mikey” Jr Lopez and Fur baby Daphne and Piper

Salvador will be remembered as a loving father and Grandfather and wonderful friend to all. He was kind and loved by all who knew him. He was always humble and would always say God bless you and thank you to everyone even during his last few weeks.

He had a wonderful quick sense of humor and love to compliment the pretty ladies, including all the nurses who took care of him. Even when he was in pain he would make everyone smile.

Salvador was a painter, Carpenter and even work as a machinist until he was 86 years old. He always loved to learn and read. He would go to seminars with us and was excited to learn new things even in his 90’s.

He truly loved the lord and loved to go to church. He would worship and praise at church and you knew he felt the spirit of God. Even the last day he sat in his chair on Sunday and watch Joel Osteen, smiled, praise with the service, and left to be with the lord that evening.

He was a World War II Veteran, awarded a medal of honor, Purple Heart and many other awards for his service. He was a “HERO” in the war and he was a “HERO” to our family as a man of courage, love and faith to model our lives after him.

We will miss him dearly but we know he is with family and friends in Heaven and his is with the Lord. The day before his passing, twice a white light shined all around him letting us know that God was near and would take his son home to be with Lord.

We are grateful that we were blessed to have him in our lives for this long and we know we will see him again some day when we go home.
