Satya Dev received his BS and MS from the University of Texas. He had a long career in tech, but his favorite role was that of husband to his wife, Eslyn, and father to his three daughters, Bhavna, Priyanka, and Kavita. Satya Dev was a loyal friend with innumerable lifelong friends from every stage of his life.
He was an avid sportsman and traveler; he loved his home state of California as the ideal place for him to pursue his hobbies of cycling, skiing, skydiving, and enjoying nature. A man with many interests, he had an encyclopedic knowledge of music, film, and world history. He was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan and Texas Longhorns fan.
