I met Shariann in 1997. Because she accepted me as I was, we quickly became friends. Through the years, she has cooked and baked for me. She gave me Pepsi to drink. (smile) She invited me into her home; she even invited me into other people’s homes. (smile) She and I would go shopping for our favorite Levi’s jeans, and she once gifted to me a cool leather jacket (and I think of her every time I wear it.) She stepped outside of her comfort zone and came with my Mom and Dad to visit me when I was in the hospital.

So, I can say that Shariann Hale did those things for me that Jesus said to do: she fed me, gave me drink, took me in, clothed me, and saw me sick and visited me. My hope is to see her again in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ - Matthew 25:31-40 NKJV

Shari had a great outlook on life, always a smile and a good hearty laugh. Loved and appreciated her family and friends, always had a kind word.
You are home now with the Lord and the many others who went before you including your Uncle Russ. Love you ♥️ 

Shari ("Sticker") was one of my first friends in Sunnyvale.  It was a difficult transition for me to move from an urban neighborhood to "the country," AKA Sunnyvale in the 70's, but Shari eased the transition and entrenched me into the Hale household like a relative. My sister and I would hang out at the Hale house on Sunday mornings while we were supposed to be at church, and Shari would make homemade tortillas with butter and regale us with stories and jokes, often cracking herself up halfway through the story.  She brought light into every room she entered and stayed cheerful, even when constrained by a body cast after a car accident. I will never forget her sweetness and the kindness Shari and the entire Hale clan exhibited during such a rough time in my life.
