Died: April 25, 2022 in San Jose, CA
Just months short of her 60th birthday, Shari passed away unexpectedly on Monday, 4/25. She leaves 2-sisters (Katherine & Janice) and a brother (Jim)
to keep her memory alive along with brother-in law’s, Fred (Katherine), Ernie
(Janice), a sister-in-law Lola (Jim), nephews Jimmy, Freddie, Eddie and Brandon, nieces Danielle and Brittany and great-nephews Cody, Ezekial and Hunter and great-nieces Riley, Raelynn, Brooklynn, Aila, Adeline, Harper and Hayden.
Shari loved music, sports, cooking, and baking. She attended many sporting events in person including SJ Sharks, LA Dodgers, SF Giants and Oakland A’s. She also saw an LA Raiders – Miami Dolphins game at the LA Memorial Coliseum. Along with Katherine & Janice, the sisters attended the annual Indian Wells Open Tennis Tournament in Indian Wells several years ago.
“Stick” as she was called by some was overall a genuinely nice person who went out of her way to help the people she cared about most. She started a family calendar for 2022 which included pictures of all the family and their birthdays. The calendar was a huge success and illustrated how Shari felt about her family.
She was known for her carrot cake, pumpkin bread and ability to make sourdough from a starter and make bread and rolls. She would often listen to the Eagles as she was cooking or baking for the family.
Like her parents before her (Jim Sr. & Laura), Shari leaves us too soon. It is now
up to her remaining family members to insure we keep her memory alive for the generations to come.
