Accepting Jesus Christ at an early age, Simuel set forth to pattern his life according to the Lord’s will. Serving and trusting the Lord was Simuel’s ultimate goal in life. He used his God given talent by using his melodic voice in the church choir to sing praises unto him.
Aspiring to faithfully serve his country, Simuel enlisted in the United States Army, thus making it a career.
Being an avid roller skater enthusiast, Simuel took pride in mentoring both children and adults for major roller skating championships in various regions of the United States. Simuel’s love for his family and friends was astronomical. He would willingly help and assist his family and others without expecting anything in return. Well known for his culinary skills, baking lemon cakes for his family and friends was the norm. Where fabric was concerned, Simuel developed an uncanny knack for creating beautiful quilts as well as artistic roller skating costumes for the people he loved.
Other hobbies he enjoyed included gardening and growing roses to keep in touch with nature. He was very adamant about properly pruning them.
Teasing his family members and friends demonstrated Simuel’s strong sense of humor. Only Simuel could tell you captivating stories about his life experiences. He was sharing his wisdom with us all the time. Simuel was the oldest of his siblings. He leaves behind one sister, Lorine Williams, two brothers, James S. Williams, Charles E. Williams, and several nieces and nephews.
Now Simuel resides within the pearly gates of heaven with Jesus Christ. Well done, thy good and faithful servant. May you rest in peace!
