Steve Haidang Ly

July 21, 1980 - August 8, 2023

Steve was born with the given name of Haidang on July 21, 1980. Later in life, he decided to go by Steve and changed his name. He cherished the ability to live life on his own terms, from changing his name to his final act of kindness by saving lives as a donor, passing on August 8, 2023.

He was kind, loving, and passionate. He gave it his best and would strive to get better everyday with his passions - pool, golf, drawing, Rubik’s cubes and his career to name a few. He attended SFSU, interned for a software company in Belgium for three months, and ultimately became a Sr. Software Engineer.

He is greatly loved and will be dearly missed by many friends and family.
