Passed away at home in San Jose, California July 2, 2012. Born Thelma LuVern Baird January 21, 1918 in Wibaux, Montana. She is survived by her daughters, Lynda (Dallas) Isaksen and Gayle (Lloyd) Hittle; her grandchildren, Juli (Alex), Jeff, Scott (Kamery), James (Christina), Jeremy (Sandra), Rachel, and Amy (Steve). She was so proud of her 12 great-grandchildren; Emma, Elizabeth, Lucy, Natalie, Chloe, Austin, Declan, Mia, Tyler, Akayla, Haylee, and Cody. She will be dearly missed by her sister Marge Esparza and her nephews, David, Ron, and Larry. Our family is forever indebted to our angel Auntie Marge for the loving care she gave to our mother. Special Thanks also go to Corrine and Elvia, her caregivers. LuVern was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Glyn, her granddaughter Jill and her nephew, Rick. "Mrs. Bartee" taught 4th grade at Quite Elementary School for many years.
Funeral Service will be held Monday, July 9, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Lima Family Erickson Mortuary, 710 Willow St., San Jose. A Graveside will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Morgan Hill.
