April 28, 1955- July 3, 2024
Surrounded by her loved ones, Violeta took her last breath on July 3, 2024 at 4:32am after a courageous battle of lung cancer. Her loss is immensely difficult to accept, but we know that she is no longer in pain.
Violeta was born on April 28, 1955 to Feliciano Martin and Isabel Sinense Martin in Camiling, Tarlac, Philippines. She had 3 half siblings from her Father’s first marriage (Mariano, Asedillo, and Estrellia), and 2 full siblings (Nida and Domingo). After graduating high school, she moved to Manila where she was a factory supervisor up until she got married. Violeta enjoyed spending time babysitting her nieces and nephews, visiting her family back in Camiling on special occasions, and making memories in Manila with her best friends.
On January 30, 1986, she married the love of her life in Camiling, Tarlac, Philippines. She then came to the United States on March 14, 1992. She worked in factories, electronics, and lastly worked as a medical supply assembler up until she retired in 2021.
She is survived by her husband Ricardo Rico, and 2 children Clarissa (Jose), and Richard (Breanna); 1 grandchild (Madeline Isabel), and 1 grandchild on the way (Baby Boy).
Our mom will be greatly missed. We will especially miss her cooking, her hugs, and her laughter. She loved to be in the comfort of her own home. Once she retired, she loved being home to babysit her grandchild, Madeline. One of the many things she enjoyed being was a grandmother. My brother and I would not be who we are today without the unconditional love she showered us with. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She cared so deeply for her family and friends. She made an impact on so many lives. She will be forever missed and our memories with her will forever remain in our hearts.
