Wanda J. Williams

Wanda Jean Williams, 91, of Newark CA took her last journey to be with the Lord Tuesday May 06, 2025 in the comfort of her home. Wanda was born August 30,1933, to parents Leo and Pauline Weakley, in Waurika Oklahoma. She was the second oldest of six children. She married her late husband Charles Lee Williams on November 21,1949. Together they had four children, Wesley, Kathleen, Teresa, and Paula.

Wanda spent a mast majority of her working years spending her time with the Hazelton family, whom all she treasured dearly. Left to cherish Wanda’s memory are her brother Roy Weakley and wife Sandra, sister Kathy Weakley, children Kathleen Williams, Teresa Morris, Paula Bengston, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, as well as many other family members and friends. Wanda was predeceased by parents Leo and Pauline Weakley, husband Charles Lee Williams, son Wesley Williams, brothers Robert Weakley, Jerald “Wayne” Weakley, and sister Kaye Maroon.

Services will be held at Lisle Funeral Home at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that any donations be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation or the American Cancer Society in honor of Wanda.
