Ronald Walter Beigel Passed away on May 25, 2016 at Kaiser Hospital, his loving wife and family at his bedside. Ron was born in San Francisco on August 26, 1935 to Alexander Carl Beigel, Sr. and Anita Schuldt Beigel. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1953. He then served in the U.S. Navy on the USS WASP and the USS Hornet for 4 years, then the Navy Reserves at Alameda for 4 years. He was Honorably Discharged in 1962. He became owner of his dad's auto body business in San Francisco, then worked with automotive sales and appraisals until retirement. He was a member of the California Auto Body Association. Ron enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking art and traveling. Most of all, he enjoyed his family, the times he and Pat spent with their children and friends at their cabin in Sonoma. Ron and Pat traveled to Europe, Mexico and Hawaii frequently. Ron is survived by his wife of 42 years, Patricia C. Beigel-"Pat", daughters LeAnne Beigel Scott and Lynda Beigel Barros, his grandsons Matthew Madigan and Cassius Camus and Great Grandchildren Kyleigh and Kolton Madigan and several cousins. He was a great brother-in-law to Pat's siblings and a wonderful uncle to all of Pat's nieces and nephews. Ron maintained many friendships from highs school, the Navy, from his auto body business and many neighbors in Terra Linda. Ron was preceded in death by his brother, Alexander Carl Beigel, Jr., his daughter Lauren and son, Larry. Services will be held Saturday, June 4th at 11:00 am at Keaton's Mortuary at 1022 E Street in San Rafael. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Terra Linda. There will be a Celebration of Life to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Hospice by the Bay, or your favorite scholarship or charity.
