Victoria A. Chuck

Victoria A. Chuck Nov. 12, 1934 - June 17, 2015 In San Rafael, Victoria A. Chuck, spouse of Ben Chuck and mother of Terence and Gregory and the late Michael Chuck. Victoria, born in San Francisco, was raised in Oakland, CA, along with her sister, the late Frances Lum, and her brothers Philip A. and John B. Lum. Her parents were the late Philip P. and Jessie Yee Lum of Honolulu, HI. In Oakland, Vicky attended Sacred Heart School and Holy Names High School. Upon graduation she matriculated at the San Francisco College for Women in preparation for a teaching career, which began with elementary school students and, while raising her family, with young adult students at the University of San Francisco, Dominican University and the College of Marin, in English as a second language. Vicky also found time, between family and teaching, to devote to the Marin Chinese Cultural Association. She was a long time parishioner of St. Isabella's Church in San Rafael, CA. Mass of Resurrection will be held at Saint Isabella's Church, San Rafael, CA on Friday, June 26, at 11:00 a.m., preceded by recitation of the rosary at 10:15 a.m.
