Hyannis – Aaron Nicholas Fiero passed away at Cape Cod Hospital on Saturday May 30, 2020 with his siblings by his bedside.
Born September 23rd, 1957 in Springfield, Massachusetts, a son of the late Nicholas S. and Nancy A. (Pegoraro) Fiero, Aaron was a long-time resident of Brewster before moving to East Sandwich 5 years ago. He was a loving and amazing brother to his siblings William Fiero and his partner Moira Hatton of Monson, Lisa Fiero of East Sandwich, Erica Fiero of Tiverton RI, Nicholas and Jill Fiero of Harwich, Rebecca and Jim SanGiovanni of Orleans and Anne Fiero of West Barnstable.
For over 43 years he attended programs at Cape Abilities initially at Orleans and later at Eastham and then Hyannis. He was active in the community, held several jobs including at Mac’s Seafood in Wellfleet and Cape Abilities Farm, leading a full and joyful life. Aaron spent time at home with making beaded jewelry, watching movies and creating artwork. Music, dancing, bowling and family gatherings were his favorite social activities.
He is survived by 10 nieces and nephews and was predeceased by his nephew Michael A. Desimone. He is also survived by 13 great nieces and nephews, and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Aaron always lived by this guiding rule “There is only one happiness in this life, to love and to be loved.”
