Born in Springfield, MA, a son of the late Alexander and Elizabeth (Callaghan) Smith.
He was a veteran of the United States Army/Air Corps. Mr. Smith had worked as an engineer for many years at United Technologies Corporation in Windsor Locks, Connecticut.
He is survived by two daughters, Cindy Pace of Sandwich, MA and Sharon Estee of East Longmeadow, MA. He also leaves his grandchildren Lexi Pace, Samantha Estee and Zoe Pace. He will be missed by many loving family members and friends.
