Charles H. "Chick" Horman, Jr.

Chick was the beloved husband of the late Pauline Horman for 51 years. Chick is survived by his mother, Julia Horman of Mashpee and his children, Charles and wife Andrea of Sandwich; Robert and wife Heidi of W. Wareham; David of Sandwich; Paula Cote of Pocasset; and Melissa Keyes and husband Thomas of Sandwich. Chick is also survived by his six grandchildren (Michaela, Olivia, Gunnar, Daria, Madelynn and Julia); brother-in-law Robert Randazzo of Maine; and a sister-in-law Roz Randazzo of Anchorage, Alaska.

Chick proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He worked 37 years for the U.S. Postal Service, with the last 27 years for the U.S. Postal Inspection Service before retiring in 1997. Chick (Papa) loved spending time on Peters Pond with his grandchildren on his Boston Whaler.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Corpus Christi Church, 324 Quaker Meetinghouse Road in East Sandwich. A private burial follows in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. In lieu of flowers, donations in Chick’s memory may be made to the Bourne Fire & Rescue Fund, 342 County Road, Monument Beach, MA 02553.
