

Cliff William Perry, 66, of East Sandwich, died unexpectedly at Cape Cod Hospital on Monday, February 20, 2017. He was the devoted husband of Patricia (McKeon) Perry, the beloved father of son John Perry, and daughters Kelly Perry and Katie (Perry) Milano and her husband Anthony, and the loving grandfather of John, Jessica, Jennifer, and James Perry, all of Sandwich. Cliff was born in Providence, Rhode Island, the son of Jeremiah Perry (deceased), and Nancy Perry. He is also survived by seven siblings: Jeremiah Perry and his wife Peggy of Carver, Daniel Perry and his wife Ruby of Sagamore, Ann DiPietro and her husband Tim of New Hampshire, Thomas Perry of Sagamore, James Perry and his wife Kathi of Florida, Edward Perry of Wareham, and Sharon Perry of Sagamore, along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Cliff graduated from Bourne High School in 1968, and attended Wentworth Institute for a short time before enlisting in the Marines. Cliff served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, was a decorated combat veteran, and recipient of the Navy Commendation Medal (V). He was the owner of a successful custom home building company, with a career spanning 42 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 188, as well as the Shawme Fish and Game Club. He enjoyed many hobbies including: hunting, fishing, woodworking, going to his camp in Maine, snowmobiling, gardening, reading, and spending time with his family and friends
Visiting hours will be Monday, February 27th from 5 - 8pm at Nickerson Bourne Funeral Home 154 Route 6A in Sandwich. The funeral mass will be Tuesday, February 28th at 11:00 am at Corpus Christi Parish in East Sandwich. Interment with military honors at Sandwich Town Cemetery.
