Constance R. Jordan

She was the wife of the late Warren I. Jordan for 39 years before his death in 1990.

Born in Somerville, she was a daughter of the late James and Blanche (Guthro) McGrath. A resident of Millis for over 30 years, she enjoyed performing in the community theater and coached cheerleading at the high school.

She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Jordan of North Adams; four sons, Gary Jordan and his wife Mary of Victor, N.Y., Scott Jordan and his wife Sally of Sandwich, Keith Jordan and his wife Therese of Clifton Park, N.Y., and Kurt Jordan of Port Richie, Fla.; four sisters, Eleanor Nally of Gibsonia, Pa., Shirley Letaz of Wethersfield, Conn., and Adeline Sugrue and Gloria Stewart, both of Mashpee; 21 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Harold and Roy McGrath, and her sisters, Beatrice McNamara and Maddy Driscoll.

Visiting hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2011, in the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Route 6A, Sandwich. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 324 Quaker Meetinghouse Road, East Sandwich. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Auburn Road, Millis, MA 02054.
