Delia A. Burke, 80, of Sandwich died July 18, 2014. She was the beloved wife of 54 years of Joseph Burke. Born in Boston, MA she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Delia (Joyce) Earner. Prior to her retirement she was employed by Verizon for 39 years. Before moving to Cape Cod she and her husband lived in Pennsylvania. She was a devout Catholic and sister. In her spare time she enjoyed being with her family, loved animals, travel, the beach and was a people person. She was predeceased by 5 brothers and 1 sister. In addition to her husband she is survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Visiting Hours will be held at Corpus Christi Church, 324 Quaker Meetinghouse Rd, E. Sandwich, Wednesday July 23rd from 10 am to 11:30 am at which time a funeral mass will be held. Interment to follow at St. Peters Cemetery, Sandwich.
