George D. Watson, 86, of Sandwich, died August 20, 2011. He was the husband of Marjorie Watson. Born in London, England son of the late George and Florence Watson. He suffered a long illness, and always had the idea he would recover and lived by that idea, sadly it never happened. He served in the English Army during World War II. He was a man of many talents, motor engineering being his main interest. He came to the USA in the 1950’s with his first wife. He worked as a service manager for Volkswagen in New York up until he retired. He and his wife then retired to Cape Cod. Very shortly after his wife died and remarried in his early 70’s to his present wife. He will be sadly missed. A Masonic Memorial Service will be held Friday Sept. 2, 2011 at 1:00 pm at the Nickerson Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Rt. 6A, Sandwich. Please omit flowers.
