Jules was born to Joan L. (Adams) and Carlo M. DiPersio on April 7, 1966, in Brockton, MA.
Jules, or Julie, as she grew up being called, was raised and had many dear friends in Sandwich, MA. The youngest of four children, she was artistic, creative and caring, and excelled in track and field (especially low hurdles) at Sandwich High School, from where she graduated in 1984. She was one of a large, happy herd of close cousins.
Jules met her true love, Rick, in 2008 and they were married, surrounded by loved ones on July 9, 2011. They resided in Bourne, MA until they retired in Naples, FL in 2017. Jules had a big personality and a loud, infectious laugh. She was kind, loyal and her close friends knew they could count on her for anything. She was immensely talented and famous among family and friends for her sewing, from delicate Christening and wedding gowns to gorgeous gifts and hilarious Halloween costumes. If not sitting at her sewing machine, often teaching a grandchild, she could be found riding her Harley, or spending time with her family. Or just relaxing with Rick.
Jules is survived by her husband Rick of Naples, FL, and three beautiful children: Joseph T. (JT) O’Hare and his wife Fallyn of Thomaston, ME; Samantha J. O’Hare and her partner Gage Tobia of Wareham, MA; and Jordan DelFavero and her husband Kevin Gahris of Kathleen, GA; her mother and father of Sandwich, MA; her sister Tara DiPersio and husband Sam Read of North Attleboro, MA; her brother Michael DiPersio of Clifton Park, NY; and her brother Marc DiPersio and wife Lisa of Derry, NH; and Rick’s children, Jessica, Richard, Jr., Brittany, Brandon, Ali and Jordan.
Jules was an adoring “Noni” to 15 grandchildren. She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was high-spirited and she was funny. And she was much loved.
Visiting hours will take place at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home located at 154 MA-6A, Sandwich, MA, on Monday, May 19th from 4:00PM to 7:00PM. A Memorial Mass in Jules' honor will be held at 11:00 AM the following day, Tuesday, May 20th, at Corpus Christi Parish; 324 Quaker Meetinghouse Rd, East Sandwich, MA 02537.
