

Born and raised in Toledo, Keith was the son of the late Irving L. Birr and Margaret Ann (Wenz) Colvin. Keith came to the Cape over 20 years ago and loved the beauty and nature of Cape Cod. He was a veteran “10 potter” lobsterman. His favorite place was in a boat on the water, whether at Devil’s Lake, Michigan with his beloved grandparents and family or the bay of Cape Cod with his great friends.
Keith is survived by his siblings, Gregg Birr and wife Linda of Sylvania, OH, Bonnie Draheim and husband John of Indialantic, FL, and Marakai Dane’ and husband Dennis Dalton of Pueblo, CO. Keith is also survived by his nephew and nieces, Trevor Birr, Leigh-Ann Draheim and Shawn Draheim as well as the many friends who loved him dearly.
Visiting Hours will be held from 5-8PM Friday, Sept. 19, 2014 in the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Route 6A, Sandwich. A Celebration of Keith’s Life will be held in the Funeral Home on Saturday at 10AM.
