

Mildred S. Harding (Millie) passed away peacefully on July 1, 2014. She was born in Brockton, MA on March 2, 1925. She is the wife of her high school sweetheart, Gilbert F. Harding, who died in October, 1986.
She is survived by her 5 beloved daughters: Sherry Banzi, and her husband Don; Debbie (Maxwell) Walden, and her husband Stan; Joni Silva, and her husband Joe; Claudia Marie Naylor; Sue Miller; and her husband Randy.
Nine Grandchildren: John Maxwell III, Cheryl Ramhorst, Jodi (Silva) Callahan, Julie (Silva) Welch, Jessica Silva, Joshua Rogers, Tracy Naylor, Mike Banzi, Donnie Banzi Jr., nine great grandchildren; a sister, Gloria Packard and her sister-in-law, Sylvia Leonard and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Russell Curtis Leonard.Arrangements under the direction of Nickerson~Bourne Funeral Home, Sandwich, MA.
Her hobbies include knitting and crocheting recetly knitting "Tom Brady" hats and giving them to friends and family. She retired from the Cape Cod Mall Information Center. She was also a Home Health Aide. She volunteered with the Sandwich Council on Aging, knitting goods for homebound seniors and was a friends visitor; and she volunteered to teach knitting at the Sandwich school after school program. She also enjoyed collecting ceramic shoes and her favorite color was blue.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne, on Thursday at 9 a.m. to follow to procession to the Massauchusetts National Cemetery.
