Patricia Ann Rand

Patricia (Bock) Rand of Sagamore Beach passed away peacefully at her home January 16, 2026. Born July 8, 1950, she was the daughter of Jacob and Bertha (Jones) Bock, and raised in South Boston. Patricia was the beloved wife of Earl Rand, formerly of Weymouth, and the devoted sister to Joseph and his wife Betty of Onset and sister-in-law to Pamela Bock of Plymouth, “Red” was pre-deceased by her brother Hank Bock. She was the treasured aunt and great-aunt to Kimberly, Bryan, Stacey, Jeffrey, Jeff, Kevin, and Jake, and their families.

Patricia graduated from South Boston High School, Class of 1968 and graduated from Boston State Teachers College. She worked for Boston Mutual Life Insurance Company for 30 years, where she met her best friend and future husband Earl.

Patricia was an enthusiastic reader, a lover of biographies, and a history buff, reading daily with her Dunkin’ Donuts tea by her side.

She enjoyed travel, taking train trips across the US with her mother, and later taking trips to the British Isles with Earl. Pat loved Cairn terriers and enjoyed decorating her homes in Plymouth and Sagamore Beach, where she showcased her love for Laura Ashley throughout the rooms.

A Memorial Celebration for Patricia will be held at a later date. Donations can be made to Cranberry Hospice of Cape Cod.
