Tom is a light and always will be. I only worked with him a few times at BWH, and I am I float. Going to the Neuro ICU and thinking I might see him motivated me to go to work. I still miss him. He was my friend.

So many laughs and stories we shared comparing notes growing up in large Irish Catholic families… what a joy to work w Tom and his endless sense of humor and  wit and kindness and care he shared w so many colleagues and patients… I will forever smile hearing Tom’s name and remembering him…

I was shocked to hear of the passing of my dear cousin Tom. I have such fond memories of our early childhood at my mother’s house and out at your house. We were two hooligans in our youth. He was like a brother in those years long ago. The last time we saw each other was out in Palos for a graduation party. We talked and laughed like we hadn’t missed a second in time. I’ll cherish those memories and carry Tom’s memory in my heart.

Tom was my husband's best friend through college through their careers at America West.  I only had the opportunity to meet him when we vacation at their home in Sandwich.  He always included me on his calls to my spouse, joking and acting as though we were friends all our life.  My heart goes out to the family and Freddie.  He flies with the angels now and as reunited with his Father and all of his pet family. May he rest in peace.

It has been many years since I worked with Tom at CCH but as soon as I heard this terrible news I could hear his voice and his laugh as though it was yesterday! Tom was the night supervisor and I started my shift as staffing coordinator at 5:30 in the morning-he greeted me every time with a hug and gratitude that I was there working with him. 
We had many wonderful conversations and laughs during our tenure together 💕

Tom was such a bright light to this world, he was honest, smart  and so funny.  
Most people knew you as a coworker, I knew you as my closest friend. We laughed, cried, and talked about everything. I’m in shock still. I miss you, I love you; my lunch date, my life coach, and my best friend, Till we meet again, love.

Freddy and All of Tom's Family,

Tom was the best!  Neighbors for 29 years, he was caring, compassionate, harboring  strong hopes for a kinder world order, beginning with our own behaviors towards others.  He accomplished much in his short life.   Family and friends proud of his many accomplishments.
His laughter was infectious and it is missed already. He shared his love and kindness with many  including his numerous pets throughout the years.   Feeling graced for having known him.

My heart is broken for Freddy, and Tom’s family his mom and his fur babies. Tom was a dedicated nurse and friend. Tom was an amazing resource that as a supervisor I knew I could rely upon and was always grateful when he was on duty. Tom had an amazing sense of humor and kindness and advocated for his patients and colleagues.  Sometimes he’d break out in song. This is truly a devastating passing. I know with all my heart he will not be far away and will be right be side all of us who loved and respected him. Love ya my friend.

Iʻm so sorry to hear that Tom passed away. Too young. He had such a bright spirit. I worked with Tom at CCH. I will always remember and appreciate how good he was to me when I was sick and needed help. He brightened the day of the Brigham  nurses and medical staff when he would visit me. He would push me around in a wheelchair calling me Miss Daisy and playing it up for the staff. 
Iʻm sure that Tomʻs family, Freddie, and many many friends have wonderful memories and funny stories to sustain them. For me, I wish there was time for more.
