Alan Corbett Ferguson, 58, of Dacula, died July 12, 2011. Mr. Ferguson received both a BS and MS from Clemson University. He later attended Emory University, receiving his MBA in 1983. He is survived by his wife, Lara M. Ferguson; daughter, Katherine Ferguson; sons, Aaron Michael Clay, Corbett Lane Ferguson, Austin Pike Ferguson, Christian Reese Ferguson; mother, Dorothy P. Ferguson; brother and sister-in-law, Mark P. and Karen Ferguson; and niece Theresa Ferguson. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mr. Ferguson’s children’s education fund at www.fergusonboyseducationfund.com. A memorial service will be Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 3 o’clock at Sandy Springs United Methodist Church with Dr. Ken Ray and Rev. Jamie Hudgins officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 o’clock until the time of service in the church parlor.
