

Cara was born on May 12th, 1962 to Michael and Linda Pelle. She went to Nova High School in Davie, FL and then graduated with a Bachelors from Boston University. As a child, Cara enjoyed spending time outside in the beautiful Florida weather, playing with her childhood pets, and spending time with friends. She was especially close with her father and enjoyed being his little girl.
She later moved to Atlanta, GA and resided there for the rest of her life. Cara enjoyed spending most of her time raising her son, Josh. She also had a deep love for animals and loved rescuing cats. Her other interests included fashion, traveling, and volunteering.
Although she spent more time to herself in the later years of her life, Cara cherished the friendships she made throughout her life and maintained many relationships over multiple decades. She would spend countless hours each week chatting with friends from her childhood, grade school years, and college throughout most of her life. She was extremely passionate in her beliefs and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was survived by son, Josh Vasil; stepdaughter, Isabelle Herlan; stepson, Frank Herlan; and brother, Mark Pelle. She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Pelle; mother, Linda Pelle; fiancé, Mark Herlan; brother, Anthony Pelle; sister, Lisa Pelle, and Josh’s father, John.
There will be a celebration of life held for her at a later date.
