Carrie Michele Dickson

Carrie Michele Dickson, 44, of Smyrna, Georgia and formerly of Great Bend, Kansas passed away on April 28, 2020. She was born November 11, 1975 in San Antonio, Texas.

Carrie graduated from Gupton- Jones College of Mortuary Science in 2011 and received her license in funeral service in 2014. She continued her career in funeral service as care center manager at Atlanta Personal Care Center.

For those who knew Carrie, she will be greatly missed for her smile that would brighten your day and her laugh that could be heard down the hall. She is admired for her perseverance through life’s challenges.

She is survived by her husband, Christopher Dickson of Smyrna, GA; daughter, Claire Dickson of Smyrna, GA; mother, Mary A. Murphy of Smyrna, GA; brother, Chad and Angela Murphy of Sterling, KS, nieces; Brittany Williams of Great Bend, KS and Audrey Dickson of Simpsonville, SC; nephews, Caleb Murphy of Sterling, KS, Michael Murphy of Sterling, KS, and Garrett Dickson of Simpsonville, SC; and a host of family and friends. Carrie is preceded in death by her father, Thomas “Mike” Murphy.

The funeral arrangements are being handled by H.M. Patterson & Son- Arlington Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Campbell High School, Smyrna, GA Special Needs Educational Department.
