Chicki Spandorfer Lipton, 89 of Atlanta died June 6, 2015. Mrs. Lipton was the first person to open a designer consignment store in Atlanta and operated Chickibea Couture/Designer Resale Boutique for 35 years. Chicki was also an active volunteer with many organizations but most recently with ESL at Wieuca Road Baptist Church and The William Breman Jewish Home where she visited quite often with her dog, Stretch. She also always enjoyed camaraderie with her dear friends “The Good Time Girls”. Chicki’s compassion, generosity and love of life will be missed by all who shared life with her. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Charles J. Lipton; daughter, Joanne Lipton (David Baker); son, John Lipton (Ranessa); and grandchildren, Michelle and Brian Lipton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Atlanta Humane Society or to The Temple. Graveside services will be Monday, June 8, 2015 at 1 o’clock at Arlington Memorial Park with Rabbi Loren Lapidus officiating.
