Clyde Herman “Stan” Stanley, Sr., 98, of Midlothian, VA, died peacefully on April 22, 2017. Stan was born in Chattanooga, TN and spent his career as a Flight Inspector with the FAA in Atlanta, GA. He was also a proud member of the Flying Tigers 14th Air Force Association. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Blackburn “Dot” Stanley; second wife, Janice Barnes Stanley; and granddaughter, Paige Stanley. He is survived by his son, Clyde Herman “Buz” Stanley, Jr.; daughter, Diane Stanley Dagnan (Gary); step-sons, Bob Barnes (Laura), Chris Barnes; grandchildren, Piper Webster, Grayson Dagnan, Holly Jefka (Stu); step-grandchildren, Katie Barnes (Bill Butler), Adrienne Barnes, Harrison Barnes, Lexi Barnes; and great granddaughter, Riley Webster. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either Crestwood Presbyterian Church, 6627 Jahnke Rd., Richmond, VA 23225 or to The American Heart Association. Graveside services will be Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 10 o’clock at Arlington Memorial Park in Atlanta, GA. A memorial service will be Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 11 o’clock at Crestwood Presbyterian Church.
