

Born in Atlanta, Georgia on August 4, 1933, “Jennelle” graduated from Grady High School and earned her biology degree at Oglethorpe University.
Jennelle had a great love of all things science, nature and the arts. In her youth, she loved ballet and painting. Education was a priority for her and her children, and she worked inside hospitals as a biochemist. She was a great lover of the outdoors, the beaches of Georgia and Florida, the US National Parks, traveling the world, the beauty of flowers, butterflies, geology and documentaries. A spiritual soul, she loved to learn about the world’s religions and quantum physics.She loved her children, her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren and always wanted a better life for all. She also loved her dogs as much as she loved her family – sometimes more.
Jennelle is predeceased by her brother, Walter David Wilbanks, her husband of 39 years, Charles “Charlie” Howard Sudduth, and her daughter, Dacia Stephanie Bray. She is survived by her children: Elizabeth “Liz” Reid (Joe) of Roswell and her son, Brent Howard Sudduth of New York City, four grandchildren, Christopher Campbell (Hannah), Lauren Huix (Oscar), Patrick Reid (Meghan), Alexandra Reid, and great-grandchildren, Bethany, Samuel and Judah Campbell.
A private graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Arlington Memorial Park, 201 Mount Vernon Hwy., Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
