Emma Carolyn Green, 85, of Sandy Springs, died December 13, 2012. Mrs. Green was originally from Bloomington, IN and was the daughter of the late Marvin and Rose wood. She had worked for C&S Bank and was an active member of North Atlanta Church of Christ where she enjoyed singing. She was an avid shopper and loved shopping for clothes. In addition to her parents Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Bruner and is survived by her husband of 61 years, Robert Earl Green; and niece, Kimberly Sims. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 o'clock at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd, NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 10 o’clock at Patterson’s Arlington Chapel. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. Arrangements by H.M.
