Mr. Erv Hinkle, 86, a prominent Atlanta musician died Wednesday, the 24th of April 2013. He was the band leader of the Ray Bloch Orchestra in the southeast for over a decade. Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Rick Hinkle and Susan Bennett; daughter and son-in-law, Holly and Mike Newman; grandchildren, Natalie Newman, Cameron Bennett; and nieces and nephews. Memorial services celebrating Erv’s life will be conducted Sunday, the 5th of May at two o’clock at Patterson’s Arlington Chapel.
