Frank Henry Patterson Jr.

Frank H. “Pat” Patterson of Sandy Springs, GA passed away on Friday Sept 23rd, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Eugenia Willingham “Genie” Patterson; sons Frank H. Patterson III and Eugene W. “Gene” Patterson; grandsons Frank Patterson IV, Judson Patterson, Ross Patterson, and Alex Patterson; granddaughters Emily Patterson and Meredith Patterson Williams, and two great grandchildren: Everett and Eleanor Patterson. Pat was born on July 27, 1930 in Shreveport, LA. He is the son of the late Frank H. and Dorothea Patterson.

Pat attended Tulane University and graduated with a BBA and MBA along with a US Navy commission. He was in the U.S. Navy for three years, primarily based on the USS Neches as the Supply Officer. He then had a 37 years career with IBM in multiple sales and marketing positions. Following retirement from IBM he worked for The Haggai Institute and Leading the Way in fund raising and estate planning.

Pat was baptized at First Baptist Church of New Orleans. He was ordained as a Deacon at First Baptist Church of Pensacola. He had been a member and Deacon of Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church in Atlanta since 1975.

His hobbies included cruising with his wife, listening to music, golf, and reading.

There will be a memorial service at Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church on Sunday October 2nd at 2pm to celebrate his life.
